People, or Task?

S: Why so many problems? And it seems to only happen to the girls!
V: Probably because they think too much - too much people oriented thinking.

When both are presented, people usually favour people-oriented behaviour over task-oriented ones. They are more sensible, more caring, gives better feedback, but sometimes can cause more unnecessary damages when applied inappropriately. As a male geeky computer engineer, I am not surprisingly qualified as a super-task-oriented person. Not ideal, but at least I am happy that I don't suffer all these relationship issues, politics and personal conflicts that seem to have plagued all these people-oriented members of our fellowship...
