Paint Scraping is Boring!

Woke up at 5am this morning working on scraping wall paint in my new place. Came back at 7:45am to take shower to get ready for work, feeling dizzy and tired. I was equipped with a heat gun, a scrapper and a P2 respirator, and worked at snail speed. 2 days of 2-3 hours session I've only managed to scrapped off one wall, and there are 7 more walls to go for my 2 bedrooms! There must be a better way to do it. I am going to try out some chemical stripper later tonight and see how it goes.

The worst part of heat gun scrapping is probably the smell of baked paint, which really makes me feel dizzy. Even though the respirator is classified to block out dust and fume, it has done probably nothing to the smell. <Cough cough>. And I am not sure whether I am poisoned by lead from the old paint. Rumours that the fall of the Romans Empire was due to the officials were lead poisoned from the vessels containing wine, as mental instability is part of the symptom. So please. Please warn me if you see me writing non-sense in this blog...
