This is what has happened this week.

Yup. Pretty busy this week, and I have not much time browsing other people's blogs. I got to the office early today, trying to fix a Melbourne client's problem, and somehow Telstra told us that our application is not compatible with Telstra. What the?! It is a web application and most people with a browser (well, has to be IE6 for the moment) can use it. What do you mean by "not compatible with Telstra"? Another excuse for bad proxy implementation. And then our Firebird 1.0.3 server keeps on crashing, and after analysing each individual core files, they all crash at different spot! That's ridiculous. Well, that's probably my fault anyway, as I put in some hacks into our own Interbase driver early this week. And I ended up hacking more Interbase in that old plain dull C programming language for the rest of today. We are heading to the city for a meeting in 10 minutes. And that's Friday...
Anyway. Since there is nothing going on, I might as well try to answer this week's FridayFive questions. Here we go.
- How are you planning to spend the summer [winter]?
The highlight - Mid Year Conference!!! I realise that is is going to be my 8th MYC. Well...
- What was your first summer job?
My first "proper" summer job is working with Creative Computing back in 1997, and that was again hacking in old plain dull C programming language, in a even-more dull SCO OpenServer.
- If you could go anywhere this summer [winter], where would you go?
Stay at home and sleep... Need rest.
- What was your worst vacation ever?
One winter holiday, finished COD exam and project, finished my psychology exam, got a very very bad fever when I went back to Gold Coast. Spent most my time on the sick bed.
- What was your best vacation ever?
Still looking for rest in heaven.
That's it. Finished in 3 minutes. Hopefully next week will be lighter.
