Post-Christmas Random Quickies on Movies

The Two Towers Just came back from the Randwick Ritz cinema today because I went and saw Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. The movie is awesome, but it can be a bit difficult to follow if you don't know some of the story already. It is good watching it at 10am in the morning because the cinema is nearly empty. By the time we have finished and came out, there was a long queue of people waiting to get in. To prepare myself for The Two Towers, Vivian and I have rented the Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring from Civic Video on Wednesday night and did the homework together. Too bad that it was the standard DVD but not the extended one, but it still kept us excited for a while. Die Another Day I also watched Now we just have to wait for another year for The Return of The King to come out next Christmas.

Die Another Day on Tuesday night in Ritz. It was an entertaining 007 movie, as were all the other James Bond movies. It is always amusing to see the shooting skill of the villains (and sidekicks), and how they always missed Mr. Bond by one or two inches. Right after the movie, I went and rented 3 DVDs from Block Buster - The Truman Show, which I saw it on that night, Pearl Harbor and Proof of Life, which I am going to watch them during this week. Never seen so many movies in one week before...
