There Might Be a Sniper on Your Roof

Saw it on Twitter:

jjprojects: Honestly, you feel like you are being watched by snipers out there, which is probably the case.

Warlach: @jjprojects http://www.flickr.com/photos/hugosharp/… thanks to @hugosharp.

Yes. Watch out! There might be a sniper on your roof!

APEC 2007 has really transformed Sydney into a fortress. Cops everywhere on the street. Jet fighters and helicopters can be heard all day. Road side rubbish bins are all sealed with Police marked duct tapes.

One more day to go, and then a 3 day long weekend. Hopefully everything will be back to normal on Monday.

i thought they were taken by someone else…

a friend passed by Bridge & Alfred Street today and told me that the atmosphere there was really tense…Very scary!

Ask yourself this question, just why does the sniper team in your photos need 3 boxes of Remington cartridges and 4 boxes of Winchester cartridges. Do trained marksmen really need better then 140 cartridges to take out a realtime security threat? Unless of course your orders are to kill as many demonstrators that have breached your ‘sterile’ zone as you can. I note that in the other photos, the ammunition has been put out of sight.
