Google: You can now download the latest 2000 items from Google Reader for offline reading, thanks to Google Gears. Having worked on a web-based application for the last 6 years, I have to say that off-line support is one single most requested feature which means there is still a huge desktop/offline market. An online/offline feed reader is a great example on how this can work out, and I shall hopefully to see Gmail getting offline support soon. Now, watch out, FeedDemon and NetNewsWire!
