Tom from Gravatar has releaed the new site as public beta. It has a much cleaner design than the previous one, and it is great that people can sign up gravatar and update their pictures again. Gravatar serving is running lighttpd + PHP, but the admin interface is developed in Ruby on Rails. I have been using Gravatar extensively on all my sites — so it’s time for you get yourself a gravatar! Sign up here. Update: It has just been released, but I am now getting “503 Service Temporarily Unavailable” when I go there. Overcrowded already?
