Had dinner at Sam’s Cafe in Croydon Saturday night. It was really in the middle of no where, but wasn’t really hard to find.
Entree (Lobster soup)

Mains (Lobster w/ rice and marinated chicken roll w/ rice)

Desert

According to Vivian the seafood is very nice and she can’t wait til the next visit, although I am a bit indifferent (seafood is never my thing). It’s on Queen Street if anyone is interested.
lobster! *drool… :D~~
The food there is really nice, not your usual kind of asian restaurant food. They have western food and desert too. The chef used to work in hotel in HK. The place may not be attractive but the food is great!
Wow!! Thanx!!!
I’ll check it out when I go to Sydney
(sooner or later… erm… ONE DAY)
Anymore places to eat? :D
can u tell me where is it please???
Cat — they used to be on Queen Street Croydon. HOWEVER, they were forced to move on March 18 2007 (we went there the week before). I am not sure where they are moving to, but we have left our email addresses and they promised to email us after the new venue has been located.
If anyone’s interested Sam’s has moved to Epping. They’re on the Upper Ground Floor of the Genesis building on the corner of Beecroft Road and Carlingford Road. They’re a little bit tucked away but are basically one of the last shops in that building facing Beecroft Road.
