I can't understand why I am getting one statistic from google - page impressions - that is 1/6th of my unique users stat from my host server. Is google honest?

Jackie,

Indeed. I took a look at the source code, and was not pleased at the style of coding at all. I did spot a few places where SQL parameters were not escaped. Nasty.

I have also been writing my own ad tracking scripts. JS works with IE, Moz and Opera, and reporting interface will be based on Ajax (and Web 2.0).

Still coding...

I analyzed Adsenselogger and found 2 bad things: it sends an email when you install it, without saying (people doesn't read READMEs). The login page can be bypassed with sq injection. I think it is very insecure and classificable as spyware. IMHO use it at your risk, someone could steal your adsense account.

As far as I'm concerned, if they aren't going to provide you the required tools to report on your own traffic, then I can't see how or why you shouldn't be allowed to use your own.

End of the day, their ad tracking isn't effected and you are simply intercepting a click event so you can track it for yourself. If their software worked and reported enough information, people wouldn't be bothering to write their own.
