It also presents a softer side to Anakin / Darth Vader, because he didn't just change to the dark side because he was evil, it was out of his love for Padmé (and his insane desire for power etc - THAT'S NOT THE POINT!!!). I disagree with your comment on Hayden Christensen! He is sooo suited to playing Anakin, he portrayed his evil-ness extremely well and there isn't any other actor that I can think of that would do the role better. On Padmé and Anakin scenes, I agree about the cheesy dialogue, but I can understand why it's there (to add emotion, blah blah blah). I suppose this cheesy dialogue really helps in the plot because of Anakin's succumbing to the dark side for Padmé. Besides these small faults, the film is absolutely wonderful! The music, plot, drama and characterisation is superb. I would definitely agree that the movie is a 9.9/10 - it is simply genius and I think that Lucas has definitely proved himself to be a truly fantastic writer/director. Regardless, it was a fantastic movie and I really enjoyed the intensity that the lightsabre fights were done with.
