I have a question about the ending where they go their separate ways. When they walk past each other she Turns and looks at him, I'm wondering if she has some how got a little memory of him from one of the other lifelines and recognises him.
What are your thoughts on this?

I like the ending in which they meet and go seperate ways the best, the womb version is just too depressive, I think.

The one in which they go drink coffee, on the other side, is too optimistic. And takes the mystery out of the movie.

The one in which he follows her is a good ending too, because this keeps the mystery. Does he talk to her? Or is he just following her and leave it with that?
But it's also a bit unneccesary. So let's just go with the 'Seperate ways'-ending.

I have found at least FOUR ENDINGS on youtube and I'm searching for more

The baby suicide is the most unique
Ending 2 - they run into eachother on the street and chat
Ending 3 - they walk past eachother and keep on walking
Ending 4 - he turns around onthe street and follows her

and I feel like if I keep looking I'll find more. I only opened this thread hoping it would say how many there are... it seems most of you think there are only 2 but there are 4 that I have found and I'm expectin gmore

the baby suicide is the most relevant though, the others just seem like a 'oh no.. how do we tie up this movie and end it real quick' type endings

Yes true true, i actually agree with both endings they are good in there own way. I was fucked off when Evan got fucked up in the womb it wasn't right for me and yes the palm reader chick was right about him not having a lifeline. But at the same time i like the ending of him you know being alive and not fucking his alternate universes up

I liked the dead in womb ending best. It typified the story and also fit the literary forshadowings. It is fortunate for us that God is in control and not us since we would try and fix things in our past. And because we are sinful and imperfect we would screw things up.

Well, personaly, the womb ending, even though very sad, I must say was the best one. The reason I say this is because it goes throughly with eveything else in the story. It should have stayed. Consider the fact at which the Gypsy (fortuneteller) told him that he has no life line. This was an obvious foreshadowing to which he will not be born. And it also is stupid to have so many endings, because the viewer cannot say for sure which is the correct one.

i think that the film was great before the ending was changed as it shows you that for everybody to be happy he cannot be happy. But i think the idea of him killing hiself inside his motheres womb is ridiculous is not as heart touching as the other ending!
