Over a month ago, I started the random quickies section of my blogsite to store interesting links that I have found on the Internet. A “linkblog” as most bloggers would have called it. It was implemented as a separate blog on my old Movable Type powered site, but since my move to WordPress, I have yet to migrate the links over.
I have since read Matthew Mullenweg’s Aside, and found it an interesting way to implement a linkblog inside WordPress. It mixed-in the linkblog entries with other blog entries you wrote, but display using a different style in an entry listing. With a few minutes of hack, I have also implemented the code Matt outlined into this site. It used a bit more logic to keep consectutive linkblog entries inside the same unordered list.
So far so good. I just need to go out to hunt links now :)
