100Mb Mailbox from Yahoo

CNN reports Yahoo would provide free users 100Mb mail boxes. While it does not compete against Gmail, it is still a good news to existing Yahoo users.

License Changes with Movable Type 3

There are two types of bloggers. One is willing to pay for services and support, and another is willing to tweak and bend for something that is free. However, looking at the blogosphere, you can say that majority of bloggers belong to the second category. There are only few people I know who are willing [...]

Intranatal Classes

Vivian and I went to our second intranatal classes in the evening at Royal Women’s. The course itself spreads over 7 weeks, and we hope that we would know everything about pregnancy, delivery and taking care of the new born baby. Well, we sort of hoped. Last night was about contractions, and discussions on various [...]

Is There Love in Space?

I have been listening to Joe Satriani‘s 2004 album “Is There Love in Space?” for the last week at work, and that was, well, quite a satisfying experience. A switcher, one year later

My iBook has finished her first orbit around the sun, which starts one year ago on this day. Nothing much has changed. This iBook does most things I asked her to do, but many other things I still prefer doing them on Windows or Linux. Am I a switcher? Not quite. I am typing up [...]

IM Correspondents of the Year

Since I added Bandersnatch to my Jabber server to log all conversations between myself and my correspondants on various IM networks two weeks ago, I also managed to import whole year worth of chat messages in XML format logged by JAJC into my message history database. Analysing the data itself proves to be quite interesting. [...]

Funeral

A pastor-to-be theological student gave his sorrowful yet hopeful talk, in the funeral of his two new born sons who died before the delivery. Monday morning at St. Barnabas. Chilling cold with drizzling rain. We cried.
