I have had my resume on the Internet for quite a few years, and during 1999-2000 I often received phone calls from head hunters/recruitment agents asking whether I would like to take up a new job. However, for the last year and half because of the general economy slow down and the dot com crash, I have not received any this kind of calls. I guess it can be used as a measurement on how IT goes in a country.
However this afternoon I’ve got a call asking about PHP programmers. Sounds like a pretty junior job to me so I redirected the gent to ask school of CSE of various universities. However, is it a sign that the IT is coming back in 2003? I hope so…
And don’t quote me when you go out to buy more tech stock :)
